It goes well with delicate, fresh and flavourful wines, usually white. Ideal pairings are with Asprinio di Aversa, Soave, Bianco di Pitigliano, Albana, Lugana, Falanghina, Verdicchio.

Deepening
Stracchino is a soft and creamy cheese originating from northern Italy, with a history that dates back centuries in the Po Valley. The name "stracchino" comes from the dialect word “stracch,” referring to the tiredness of cows after their journey to high-altitude pastures. These cows, though weary, were nourished by the rich and varied grass of alpine meadows, producing milk especially rich in fats and proteins—ideal for creating a soft, spreadable cheese. Over time, Stracchino has maintained its ties to tradition and territory, becoming synonymous with quality and simplicity. Choosing to produce Stracchino with whole cow’s milk from organic farms located within 30 km of our dairy highlights our commitment to sustainability and animal welfare while guaranteeing freshness and authenticity. This proximity reduces environmental impact from transportation and ensures that the milk used is rich in essential nutrients that give Stracchino its signature sweet flavour and soft texture. As such, Stracchino continues to tell the story of its origins, embodying the principles of naturalness, freshness, and closeness to the land.
