Thin and soft, pinkish in colour.

Food pairing

You can enjoy it on its own to enjoy its flavour on its own, or accompany it with crusty bread or jam for a gourmet starter. It is also excellent used as the main ingredient in the preparation of pasta, risottos and soups. In addition, it is the perfect cheese to include in the filling of toasts, piadinas and focaccias or to melt on pizzas and savoury pies.

Wine pairing

It can be paired with still red wines such as Merlot or Pinot, but also with light, young, dry sparkling wines.

Deepening
Taleggio PDO Organic is a prime example of how tradition and innovation can come together to offer a high-quality product that respects the environment and consumer health. Originating in the valleys of Bergamo, particularly the Taleggio Valley from which it takes its name, this cheese has travelled through centuries while staying rooted in the Italian cheesemaking tradition. Initially produced by farmers to preserve excess milk, Taleggio gradually gained fame and appreciation, becoming a beloved cheese both in Italy and abroad. Taleggio PDO Organic is made exclusively with milk from organic farming. This not only enhances the quality of the cheese but also contributes to environmental protection.
